Workspace · Neutral source comparisons

Two quotes, side by side. You decide what they mean.

Paradox extracts atomic, quoted statements from testimony and records, then shows pairs that may not agree. It preserves documented dates and time context, uses neutral wording, and leaves credibility and legal conclusions to the reviewer.

Step by step

How Paradox works

The receipt beside each step is an illustrative example of what a reviewer sees, not data from a real case.

  1. 01

    Extract atomic statements

Each statement keeps its source, witness, uncertainty and time qualifiers. Dates must appear in the quote; an unsupported exact date becomes unknown rather than guessed. Unsupported statements are dropped by a fresh source check.

    entity · attribute · value · date
  2. 02

    Match people conservatively

People are matched from source observations or explicit name and date of birth, not a case caption. Unknown or ambiguous identities are not paired.

    identity: unresolved · not paired
  3. 03

    Form candidate pairs

Only statements about the same entity and attribute are compared. Pain, activity, work status, medication or provider values recorded at different times are not an inconsistency just because they changed.

  4. 04

    Compare, then verify

A comparison call sees only the two anchored passages. Consistent or unclear results are not findings. Possible inconsistencies receive a separate check; same-model checks are labelled honestly. Summaries use a fixed neutral template.

    needs review · same model
  5. 05

    Review with notes

Filter by type, witness, severity and status. Confirm, dismiss, explain or reopen — dismissals and explanations require a note. Dispositions follow the exact evidence, so regenerating the same evidence keeps your decision.

    dismissed · note · history 2
  6. 06

    Export a reviewed witness kit

Only confirmed findings from a complete, current analysis export. Word includes editable page transcriptions, clearly labelled as not facsimiles; PDF appends selected source pages. Sign-in, re-authentication and audit apply.

Limits we state plainly
  • Findings are leads for a reviewer, not conclusions about credibility or liability.
  • Changed, suppressed or quarantined sources invalidate a published analysis and its export.
  • Large kits or very large source files fail explicitly rather than silently omitting material.
