What's new at Chronos

Product updates

New workflows, review safeguards, and workspace improvements, published from the Chronos release notes.

  1. Latest release

    Workspace polish

    • Dark mode — switch between light and dark themes from the sidebar or your profile. Your choice is remembered on this device.
    • Command palette — press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) to jump to any page, open a case, or start a new case or client in seconds.
    • Print-friendly chronologies — printing a case (⌘P) now outputs just the chronology, without the app navigation or banners.
    • What's new — this page, plus a quick summary on your dashboard, so you always know what changed.
  2. Review workflow & safeguards

    • Case status pipeline — cases now move from New to Extracting to Ready for review to Reviewed to Exported automatically as records are processed.
    • Ready-for-review alerts — get an in-app notification (and an email) the moment a case is ready for review.
    • Locked events — lock a timeline event to freeze it so reprocessing and de-duplication never overwrite your edits.
    • Verbatim checks — quotes that can't be matched against the source document are now flagged for verification.
  3. Coverage & exports

    • Coverage view — see every provider and facility at a glance, with records-on-file and subpoena-pending status.
    • Selected-row exports — export only the timeline rows you choose, not just the whole chronology.
    • Chronology versions — generated chronologies are snapshotted so you can compare what changed between versions.
    • Duplicate-client guard — creating a client warns when a similar name already exists, so histories stay together.
